Arayel Osborne grew up in Norwood, Massachusetts. She then went to Emory University where she majored in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. While in college, Arayel became an EMT and served as a member and then assistant chief of the campus EMS unit. After college, she moved to Philadelphia and for two years worked as an emergency department tech full-time and EMT part time. Arayel then attended Jefferson Medical College where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Christiana Care Health System. She joined DFES in 2012.
When not at work, Arayel enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys cooking, exercising and a good glass of wine.
