Neil Jasani, MD, MBA, FACEP graduated from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the Christiana Care Health System (CCHS). He received his MBA from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2009. Most recently, he assumed the position of Chief Academic Officer (CAO), DIO and Vice President of Medical Affairs. Prior to this, he served as the emergency medicine Associate Program Director for 15 years and the Program Director for another 6 years.
In the 21 years that he was involved with the leadership of the Emergency Medicine Department and the Residency Program, he was responsible for redesigning the core curriculum, developing a dedicated 4 week orientation block for the incoming residents, mentoring and educating over 200 residents, and enhancing the medical student rotation. As CAO and DIO, Dr. Jasani oversees the training of all residents, fellows as well as medical, allied health and PA students. In his role as Vice President of Medical Affairs, Dr. Jasani oversees approximately 1,200 attending physicians who are credentialed and have privileges at Christiana Care. Dr. Jasani continues to work clinically in the ED on a part-time basis.
