Bio:
A graduate of Drew University in Madison, NJ, Brian Jay Levine, M.D. attended medical school at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT. Dr. Levine completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the former Medical Center of Delaware, now Christiana Care Health System, in Wilmington, DE. He served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Levine joined Christiana Care Health System’s Department of Emergency Medicine in 1998 where he is now the Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency. Dr. Levine is the associate medical director of Christiana Care’s LifeNet aeromedical transport program. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Levine has authored the Emergency Medicine Residency Association’s antibiotic guide for the past four editions. Currently, he recently completed the 2015 edition and has incorporating the entire residency into playing a substantial role in the book. The residency has agreed to author the 2017 guide as well. Dr. Levine is an active member of the pharmacy and therapeutic committees for both the state Medicaid system and Christiana Care.
