Eli Zeserson

Eli Zeserson grew up in upstate New York first in Woodstock then in Ithaca for high school. He then ventured west graduating from UCLA with an English major. After a few years working as ski instructor and medical assistant as the Lake Tahoe Orthopedic Institute he came back east for medical school at Jefferson where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He stayed in Philadelphia and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where he was chief resident. His first job out of residency was with DFES at Christiana and he has been here ever since. He particularly likes the blend of academic and community medicine, working with the incredible residents, the diverse patient population and the vast research opportunities.  When not working, he can be found spending time with wife Melissa and their three young children. He also always makes sure to fit in some skiing, mountain biking, running, home brewing and grilling on his Big Green Egg.
