Eileen DeAngelis was born and raised in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. She knew early on that she wanted to become a PA, and she studied biology at Moravian College where she also ran on the cross country team. She then went on to pursue PA studies at Arcadia University. Following graduation, Eileen joined DFES in 2010. She is active in the Delaware Academy of Physician Assistants, and is currently serving as President of the organization. Eileen also has a passion for teaching, and she has kept close ties with Arcadia University where she works as an adjunct instructor for the PA program.
Outside of the ER and the classroom, Eileen enjoys nature, playing with her Jack Russell, and fitness classes. Along with her husband Andrew, she has constructed many birdhouses for her yard, which are happily inhabited most of the year. She has a green thumb, and on her free time she can be found tending to her gardens.
