A graduate of the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, IN, Jonathan McGhee, D.O., FACEP completed his medical training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. McGhee completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the Christiana Care Health System in Newark, DE. Dr. McGhee joined Doctors for Emergency Service in 2004 where he is now an academic faculty member in the Christiana Care Department of Emergency Medicine as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He is board certified and holds current medical licensures in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Dr. McGhee is a member of the Medical Society of Delaware where he serves as a member of the Government Affairs Committee, and is a Past President of the Delaware Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. In his free time, Dr. McGhee enjoys running and playing soccer. He is also father to 2 wonderful children and husband to a fellow physician, Karen (who is always his better half), in the DE community.
