Kimberly Fox grew up in Voorhees, New Jersey. She attended Duke University, where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Biology and Chemistry. She received her M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and stayed in Pittsburgh to complete her emergency medicine residency training at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). She served as chief resident during her final year and was a member of the Emergency Medicine Quality and Patient Safety Committee as well as the Graduate Medical Education Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Committee. She joined DFES in July 2016 and moved to Philadelphia with her husband to be closer to family. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
