Growing up just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Stransky spent some time out west prior to completing her undergraduate degree in Chem-Bio at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. After college she attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and graduated with honors. Wanting to remain in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Stransky went on to complete her residency in Emergency Medicine at Christiana Care Health System. Serving as Chief Resident strengthened her desire to stay on after graduation with Doctors For Emergency Services. Joining the group in 2011, she enjoys the dynamic practice, working in both urban and suburban settings, teaching residents while practicing community medicine. She is proud to be a member of DFES, committed to providing excellent patient care together with the other physicians, nurses, residents and hospital staff that make up the Christiana Care team. When not at work she enjoys yoga and spending time with her family outdoors and at the beach.
