Robin Fitzgerald was born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs and got a bachelor’s in Biology at Arcadia University, where she spent semesters abroad in both Scotland and Australia, a summer volunteering in a hospital in South India and time building houses in both post-Katrina Louisiana and in Mexico. She continued onto grad school at Arcadia, where she got her Masters in Medical Science. She completed a year-long physician assistant Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Bryn Mawr Hospital, after which she came to Christiana ED for an Emergency Medicine Internship. She loves working in the ER because of the endless variety of complaints and constant new learning opportunities. She has been working for DFES since 2012.
In her spare time, Robin is passionate about spending time with her husband and son, long runs, hiking, reading, traveling to new places, and cooking healthy, whole-food based meals.
