Marilee Brigg
Marilee grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and made her way out to the Philadelphia area in 2000 where she attended Eastern University. She majored in Communication Studies, minored in Chemistry and Spanish, and was a two-sport athlete playing both soccer and lacrosse. She began volunteering as an EMT during college and soon realized she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She spent a year working at ECRI as a healthcare technology analyst and then went on to attend PA school at Arcadia University. She obtained a Masters in both Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health and served as class president her senior year. She then spent two years working in emergency medicine at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD and came to Christiana in 2010.
Marilee is an avid runner and enjoys many other outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and kayaking. She also loves to travel and has done several international medical missions trips. She is married with two very active little girls and spends her free time playing in the sandbox, watching Disney Junior, and climbing trees.
